The professional bio[edit]

David is working as a software engineer and technical project manager at Columbitech in Stockholm, Sweden. Since the company was founded in the year of 2000, he has been one of the software engineers designing and creating the security framework of the company's Wireless VPN product suite. He holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Linköping, Sweden. David has been co-founder of two companies, Velvet Development and Consima, where the last one mainly provided consulting services to the Swedish Armed Forces Intelligence and Security Center.

My short story[edit]

I grew up in a small village called Hagafors, which is located in the very south of Sweden in the county of Småland. My father Olof Broman is an architect, but is now retired and leads a calm life in Hagafors. My mother Eva is working as a psychologist with the speciality of children autism. Together with my two sisters Johanna and Sara I had, from my point of view, a wonderful childhood in the beautiful countryside south of Jönköping.

I graduated from the gymnasium of Erik Dahlberg (similar to High school) in Jönköping in the year of 1996. The next couple of years I spent in the town of Linköping where I studied at the University of Linöping. After two years of studying I did my military service as a Staff Sgt at the Armed Forces Intelligence Assistant School in Uppsala. In the year of 2001, I finally achieved my Master degree in Engineering.

Currently, I'm living in apartment together with Åsa in northern Stockholm. We do not have any pets or other time consuming obligations, but we still mange to fill up our spare time.
