Untitled[edit]

I forked added information from the Spigot article. Please contact me if you have anything that you feel like talking to me about.

I removed the Jerkcity link, since the man didn't create it(and if you read his interview, you'd know that he's just fond of it)

I'm not sure if Tristan really is engaged to a woman named Delia Derbyshire, but the link goes to a woman that's been dead since 2001. There should either be a separate Delia Derbyshire article, or the section should be removed.

I am guessing that someone may have wikified that name thinking that it was the same person (or someone just jumped the gun and decided that all names needed to be wikified without verification, I dunno). It is also interesting to note that there is no mention of the details of her death on the article page for the woman. I will de-wikify it until someone can provide further clarification on this matter. TheMonkofDestiny 16:23, 25 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Racist[edit]

I removed the mention of the dilbert strips as being 'often racist' because it's patently untrue. They are definitely obscene but not even remotely racist. Somebody has an axe to grind. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CCEE:CD90:6A1C:A2FF:FE02:4C44 (talk) 17:44, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

the word is not the thing[edit]

In the hobby of amateur radio, a silent key refers to an operator who is deceased.

This tells us what a silent key does (though not how), but not what it is. —Tamfang (talk) 09:17, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
