The result of the debate was CONSENSUS NOT REACHED but there were more merge votes than delete votes; there were NO keep votes.

Not at all encyclopedic. It's just fancruft, and hardly "essential to the plot" at that. Delete. --Improv 13:56, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. Red links aplenty, and is this really of any significance whatsoever separate from its original source? Average Earthman 15:29, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Just as any other item of popular culture, only the most notable aspects of Final Fantasy (such as the games themselves, or characters like Sephiroth) are deserving of articles. Ian Pugh 18:27, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • I would merge with Final Fantasy VIII. The information it contains is pretty important to the plot of that game (don't shoot me, it's the only one I've played). Merging would also discourage it from being added again later as a separate article. [[User:Aranel|Aranel ("Sarah")]] 23:28, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Condense story, expand significance, and merge with Final Fantasy VIII siroχo 23:34, Oct 26, 2004 (UTC)

  • Merge and redirect, I suppose, presuming there isn't much else to say about it. The Final Fantasy VIII article isn't overflowing with info. Everyking 01:42, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
