Old talk[edit]

Moved part of article on Angrapa (German: Angerapp) here, due to ongoing vandalism by Emax, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Emax:

Angerapp is the original historical name of the river in Prussia and is derived from the Old Prussian language, meaning Eel River.

Correction[edit]

The article needs correction, at present it states: 'The Angrapa has a length of 172 km and a basin area of 3,639 km². Its name derives from Old Prussian and means "eel river." (To be correct, it should state, that the German, Old Prussian river name Angerapp is the original name (derived from O.Pr. Angurgis - Eel and App (Apis) - River). The name was changed to 'russianised' version after 1945 to Angrapa. Angrapa would mean Eel-Angel as Rapa in Old Prussian means Angel, Rappels-Plyers)
