Image and caption[edit]

Would it be correct to say that the image depicts a severe phimosis? Of course, any image should clearly demonstrate the phenomenon being described. But the layperson may interpret it to be a typical depiction of a phimosis, which, if I understand correctly, is not accurate.

Perhaps the caption should be changed to "A severe phimosis" to clarify the example is more demonstrative than typical. 85.255.236.218 (talk) 10:26, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

More useful would be to list the Kikros severity scale number in the captions on all of the photos where the source can be found. If that scale is generally recognized, then a medical-textbook reference should be found in addition to the Pediatric Surgery International article.71.230.16.111 (talk) 07:32, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not a Gallery[edit]

I have removed two images from this article. The infobox image is captioned "an erect penis with phimosis" so I have removed another image that was identical. I left in the one captioned "a physiological case" in case someone wants to differentiate physiological and pathological.
