Welcome to Wikipedia[edit]

Hello Wang123:

Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy being here, and beware, it can be addictive. ^_^

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!

P.S. One helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

About Cantonese[edit]

I have read your comments on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Penkyamp. Yes, I am still working on the overhaul of Wikipedia articles about Cantonese. You are welcome to help. Remember, this is a wiki. No one owns the articles. Feel free to add your knowledge to those articles, and feel no offense when other people make changes to your work. -- Felix Wan 19:08, 2005 Jan 11 (UTC)

Signatures[edit]

You can customize your signature in "preferences". ;) Under "user data", check "raw signatures" (that disables the automatic link to your user page, which could mess the signature up if you're adding another link to your talk page), then just fill in whatever you like in the "your nickname" section. -- ran (talk) 14:50, Jan 28, 2005 (UTC)

Missing characters[edit]

Hi,

I think the "city" radical comes from my HKSCS font. A freeware font can be downloaded from the HK government web site at http://www.info.gov.hk/digital21/eng/hkscs/download.html

I think I will ultimately have to use some images on that article. Otherwise other people will also have trouble viewing the various partial characters. Thanks for notifying me of the problem. — Gniw 06:57, 7 Feb 2005 (UTC)
