In answer to your question:

1. I didn't create the image, I merely converted it from a PNG file to an SVG file.
2. The development of Cyrillic is much more complicated than the other alphabets, and draws many of its letters from Glagolitic rather than Greek or Phoenician. As a result, it would make the image considerably more complicated.
