Issues

• IE doesn't display the background image for external language links that are the first item in the line.
• Should the language box have both the English and native name for all languages (makes it very long)?

It would still be very different as all the colors have gone. If the "browse by topic" is going to be given more prominence by moving it to the top, I think the pages in it need to be better thought out. I can't see how things like soul are regarded a topic, and a lot of the articles listed there are far from being our best ones. Sculpture, for example, is barely more than a stub with a few lists. They aren't actually all that far away from where they are on the current Main Page. Personally I think it is essential that we have a topic list or even A-Z alphabetical links high up. Tom- 09:19, 30 May 2004 (UTC)
