The CIA World Factbook lists this position as Chairman of the National Defence Commission, as opposed to Committee, so I have moved this here. It jibes with the North Korea article as well. -- Slowking Man 07:29, Jun 5, 2004 (UTC)

This article is majorly biased against the Korean chairmen.
Since this is a short article, it would make sense to add a list of all the chairmen. If Kim Jong-il is the first person to hold this office, then that fact should be stated in the article. Mike1981 22:39, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
