hidden track[edit]

i have the limited editon of Untouchables and my version doesn't have a hidden track

WereWolf 23:03, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I bought it used from FYE and it had a bonus track. it has a sticker on the front that said, "limited addition" too. the track isn't marked though, you have to listen past the final track. it's a seperate track, but i mean it's not labled on the back.

There are actually 2 limited editions. One of them is the initial pressing of the standard edition (which has the hidden track). The other limited edition is also mentioned on this article. This one I'm referring to is the digipak with the bonus DVD and alternate cover. This limited edition does not have the hidden track. So if any of you have a limited edition and it doesn't have the hidden track, it is probably the digipak. Bramblestar (Leader of FireClan) (talk) 22:59, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My copy has an extra track at the end called "Data Track" but it appears to be the remix of "Here to Stay" that is listed to be at the end of the previous track on the limited edition. My copy does not have this at the end of "No One's There" - it ends at 5:06. I edited the disc contents to be a little clearer on this, as it confused me. Please edit back if it's incorrect HilaryBray (talk) 22:50, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

David Seymour[edit]

Does anyone else think the cover image of Untouchables was inspired by David Seymour's "Children placed in the Albergo de Pobre by order of the Juvenile Court"?

Nah, the band came up with the image themselves. WereWolf 02:58, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Piracy[edit]

in this interview http://www.mtv.com/bands/k/korn/news_feature_may_02/index3.jhtml Davis says: "The only thing that made me mad about it was that the album was unfinished," he said. "But I have no problem with the Internet. Our whole purpose is to get our music out to people and let them hear it, and if that is the way it is going [out there] then I have no problem with it. You can't fight technology, so you might as well join it." "Kids want to download it now to hear it, but they are going to want to buy it later,"

So, it sounds like the "The band blamed internet piracy for the drop in sales, " part of the official release section is wrong (otherwise, it needs a source). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.72.12.123 (talk) 10:52, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The song titles of pirated copies[edit]

It seems that pirated versions of this album released the songs under two different sets of titles. There is one set documented on the Russian translation of this article, and there is another set documented on the Old Belarussian, Italian, and Finnish translations.

There is evidence elsewhere that the Russian set of titles exists: http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1648687/?show_files=1&page=1&ref=1223608081 http://music.xcess.info/korn_untouchables.aspx

There is probably evidence on the internet outside of Wikipedia that the other set exists, too. Maybe this should be mentioned in the article.

Those were the leaked names, the band did not name them. --The Guy complain edits 19:13, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I know. These leaked names are still good for reference, though. Suppose someone is trying to find out which album a song named "Floyd" came from. It would be helpful for them to know that there is no such song, and that they should be looking for "Thoughtless".

Etoombs (talk) 08:07, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neither of those sources are reliable. --The Guy complain edits 18:30, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I know, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a reliable one. Internet piracy is somewhat of a moving target. There are no records of internet piracy activities anywhere on the Internet that are guaranteed to be correct or to remain hosted. It is still obvious from searching the internet that these names are at least partially correct. A google search for "korn inja" suggests that there is actually a real song by Korn named "Inja", judging by the results returned. Of course, there isn't, but it will be difficult for someone looking for the song to come to that conclusion without a list of possible false names of Korn songs with mappings to the real ones. Having these names available for reference is still useful, though I do agree with you that the sources I used are not reliable. If they can't be put on this page, then maybe they should be put on their own page.

Etoombs (talk) 23:36, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, these still are not reliable, as per WP:RS. Putting them on their own page would do nothing to increase reliability of these sources. I doubt this is notable, anyways, I have seen no significant media coverage of it. --The Guy complain edits 01:33, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Would it be reliable if i link to scans of my copy (silver-pressed CD bought in April 2002) and comparison of extended versions of 4 songs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.87.89.88 (talk) 11:24, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
