Untitled[edit]

Did Void really record for Matador? They are on the list here, but they were primarily a Dischord band, and Matador never released any stuff by hardcore punk bands to my knowledge. Chris77xyz 20:10, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Matador is still listed on the RIAA's site as of 01/10/06.

Matador is also Lloyd "Matador" Daleys reggae recording label.

No more mention of Pavement?[edit]

The question "No more mention of Pavement?" appeared in the article. It doesnt belong there, so i've put it here instead. I don't really know what it's refering to, so i can't help, but perhaps someone else can!

Fair use rationale for Image:Matador.gif[edit]

Image:Matador.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Roster[edit]

I suggest changing this section name to Acts, and the "Current (active) Bands" to simply "Current", and the "Alumni (Former Bands)" to simply "Former". Even if people disagree to those overall changes, I'd still suggest removing (active) from "Current (active) Bands" as it is redundant, and changing "Alumni (Former Bands)" to Former Bands as a record label doesn't have Alumni per the definition given in Alumnus.IrishStephen (talk) 23:55, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

Since many other pages regarding record labels (even indie ones) have a close-to-complete discography, I believe it should be a priority on this page. Status[edit]

Matador is distributed by ADA in the United States. ADA is owned by Warner. Does that affect its status as being independent? AmericanLeMans (talk) 22:35, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
