Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stories do not belong in wikipedia. Could it be moved somewhere? Or, if the story is notable enough, an encyclopedic article could be written (history of the story, etc.) Darksun 22:14, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. It's a section from a text titled "Companions of The Prophet" by Abdul Wahid Hamid. Some sort of Islamic text. Could be a copyvio; one copy online may be copyright 1995 [1] but it's hard to tell. Doesn't belong here anyway. Gwalla | Talk 23:09, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • It's all over the internet. I've posted it as a copyvio but left the VfD intact. - Lucky 6.9 23:17, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. With its tangled copyright status, no move to Wikisource. Geogre 00:44, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Comment: Who Actually Wrote This Text? I have some suspicions ;-) No action till we find out please! Kim Bruning 16:33, 29 Aug 2004 (UTC)
    • Well whatever, after just googling for just a couple of seconds, in any case the subject is Excessively Encyclopedic. We should probably rewrite, reorder, anything, but KEEP!
(I'm curious how old that text is too!) Kim Bruning 16:41, 29 Aug 2004 (UTC)
