I think this should become a redirect to rotation. I don't feel this could ever become a full article. Besides rotation is in a deplorable state and so this article shouldn't be split off prematurely. --MarSch 18:34, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

First fix the rotation article, then let us talk about redirecting this to there. Also, this article needs expansion. A bunch of concrete examples of rotations around certain axes would be helpful. Then this would become a nice self-contained article about a specific math concept. I will work on it soon.
