Philippines' Regions[edit]

I agree with mav that regions should be there. Other countries list their first-level subdivisions in their respective articles. France even goes so far as to list the departments under each region. By the way, you should place information about you on your user page, not on this talk page. --seav 07:45, Aug 17, 2003 (UTC)

ADB Table[edit]

Oo nga pala, why did you increase the number of columns in the Asian Development Bank table? It would look really bad on 640x480 screens, IMO. --seav 07:47, Aug 18, 2003 (UTC)

Provinces' Capitals[edit]

You might want to take a look at the list of provinces table. You linked to the capitals, but municipalities should be linked like this Santa Cruz instead of just plain Santa Cruz. Otherwise, you'd be linking to the wrong places like Siquijor (when it should be Siquijor), Jordan (when it should be Jordan), Romblon, when it should be Romblon). Get it? The cities, however are fine—they don't need their province's names attached (except for San Fernando because there's one in La Union and another in Pampanga). --seav 12:57, Aug 18, 2003 (UTC)

Format for regional articles[edit]

I actually haven't decided yet how to format the articles on the regions. Ever seen the Wikipedia:WikiProject Philippine LGUs page? I have left a lot of stuff for open discussion there and I've only standardized the provincial articles. I was thinking maybe the regional articles could have a similar format like the provincial articles. --seav 02:31, Aug 19, 2003 (UTC)

Republic Acts[edit]

Hmmm... I've always wanted a list of Republic Acts of the Philippines so here it is! I was wondering how best to format it. --seav 04:34, Aug 19, 2003 (UTC)

Filipino Wikipedians[edit]

Hi, you were listed in the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Philippines page as living in or being associated with Philippines. As part of the Wikipedia:User categorisation project, these lists are being replaced with user categories. If you would like to add yourself to the category that is replacing the page, please add [[Category:Filipino Wikipedians|{{subst:PAGENAME}}]] to your user page. Thanks. :) Coffee 03:18, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Since you seem to be inactive, I went ahead and added the category to your user page. Coffee 04:24, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Department of Tourism[edit]

Hi. I already updated the Department of Tourism (Philippines) article that you have started. Try to visit it and let me know what else we have to do. Thanks. --Glenncando 21:15, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:00, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed blackout in protest of R.A.10175[edit]

Dear Wdmanuel,

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 14, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.

Thank you and maraming salamat po!

Kind regards,

Tito Pao (talk) 02:17, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jeffrey Jeturian has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — kikichugirl speak up! 03:09, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited José Javier Reyes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page A Love Story (film). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:08, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Wdmanuel. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Mae Czarina Cruz-Alviar, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Mae Czarina Cruz-Alviar to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
