TCS and Wikipedia.[edit]

I removed links to two articles about Wikipedia on TCS as it has rather low relevancy. If, they belong on article about how Wikipedia is percieved in public. Pavel Vozenilek 17:54, 1 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Corporate Europe Observer.[edit]

Pavel Vozenilek removed a link I added to an article by the Corporate Europe Observer on lobbying in Brussels regarding the EU institutions (in April 2005), with the argument that it only mentions the name of TCS, but doesn't provide any further information.

The document has been updated in the mean time, and this is what it now says about TCS (right hand side of page 11 of http://www.corporateeurope.org/docs/lobbycracy/lobbyplanet.pdf):

"On the third floor of the Résidence Palace you find the Brussels office of TechCentralStation, an aggressive US journo-lobbying website funded by companies like Microsoft, Exxon and McDonalds. The website www.TechCentralStation.be is full of the kind of furious attacks on environmental and social legislation that are more commonly associated with radio talkshows from the US mid-west."

CEO is a respected and authoritative organisation on the topic of lobbying. While I understand TCS is probably not happy with such comments, I think this is quite important information for people who want to quickly find out what kind of think tank TCS is.

So I'm adding the link again.

sponsors[edit]

Some of the sponsors listed are no longer sponsors according to the TCS Daily "About Us" page. So I modified the entry to say "currently or previously have included."

WSJ reference.[edit]

William M. Connolley, why should the the fact that DCI uses TCS to oppose GW and AIT not be in the article? It's referenced to the WSJ article which states "DCI is no stranger to the debate over global warming. Partly through Tech Central Station, an opinion Web site it operates, DCI has sought to raise doubts about the science of global warming and about Mr. Gore's film". -- Jeandré, 2006-10-30t20:45z
