Eric Gordon Corley[edit]

Do you have any particular reason to believe that he didn't take his name from Orwell's book? It seems pretty obvious that is the source (google "Emmanuel Goldstein" and all you get are results referencing Orwell or Corley). I seem to recall Corley briefly confirming this at Phreaknic 4.0, but I don't have a published source to reference on that. Dick Clark 19:13, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have all the reason to believe that it was taken from the book, but I was the first person to mention the inference but I did so without the faintest trace of hard evidence, which is why I took it out. Covracer (talk) 18:30, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your input is needed on the SOPA initiative[edit]

Hi Covracer,

You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.

Thank you.
