His Royal Highness Prince Lawrence, Duke of St. George is a Britannican politician.

Leadership and Premiership[edit]

On 21 March 2004 Prince Lawrence was elected Leader of the Conservative Party and so became Prime Minister. He is attributed with setting up todays Britannica, creating the constitution and setting up a bicameral parliament. He remains to date the longest surving Prime minister of Britannica and was the basis of the union with Clementi.

A lot of his tenure saw the debate of the Capital Punishment Act 2004, which was for months teh hotest debate in Britannica. The act has been twice rewritten by the Murder Act 2004 and the Crimes Punishable by Deaths Act 2005.

State Religion[edit]

Riots broke out in Britannica about the state religion, which the governemnt was forced to give up. Thsi was only allowed becuase the King had not yet had his cornation, so he did nto yet have a duty to keep the state religion. Soon, when the danger was passed, the state religion was calmly inserted into the constitution. From 29 April 2005, when King James has his coronation, until his death, a state religion will unquestionably be staying.

Immigration[edit]

Immigration was a huge problem in Britannica, as 100,000s of British and Irish people came to Britannica. Today immigration has comepletely been stopped, and only present Britannican citizens have the right to live in Britannica for more than 2 months at a time. The enforcement that Slade sed at teh time was rough, but it was widely agreed with.

Social Bills[edit]

Later on into the tenure of Prince Lawrence, tricky social bills were introduced by the government. The Marriage Bill 2004, trying to make it illegal to marry in a civil service, was rejected strongly by the House of Commons. In the end, a lack of support for reasoning for the bill from the drafters sealed the fate of not just the bill but, as many thought, the government.

Later career[edit]

When the Tories lost the 21 September 2004 General Election, Slade lost the leadership election. He became quiet for the next few months. After the 1 February [[2005], Slade was appoint Helath Secretary, and Deputy Priem Minister. Within five days he had regained his domnance in the party and was appointed Home and Foriegn Secretary. Slade has of yet refused to try and regain the leadership.
