“Levitated” is an open source art website that makes a good effort to share and educate about the possibilities of programming. The section on animating with ActionScript v. Timeline is particularly interesting for seeing how a programmer makes choices about the effects that a small application will create. Plus there is a fascinating collection of past projects, which also include installations in traditional gallery spaces.
