Huge gaps[edit]

There are huge gaps here - first weaving etc Johnbod 04:16, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding bits as I expand History of clothing and textiles; afraid it will be a very slow process. - PKM (talk) 23:33, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Reassessed as Start class. I can't even make a good case for this as being C-class material. - PKM (talk) 18:56, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. Enormous gaps. Textile technology development stops in 1953. This article should be called "A historical timeline of clothing and textiles technology. It does not cover all major textile regions/ clusters. --193.197.220.142 (talk) 16:19, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks to those working on this. I came here while trying to answer the question of when elastic fabrics were first introduced and didn't find my answer. I'll keep researching and add something to the article if I can find a credible source. If anyone finds the answer in the meantime, it would be a good addition to the timeline (and to History of clothing and textiles). --JohnPomeranz (talk) 18:02, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Where does sprang fit in?[edit]

Sprang, I supect, is mesolithic, but its page simple describes it as "ancient." ==Monado (talk) 06:08, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reference problems[edit]

Many claims are missing citations. As well, several have an author last name and a date, but no other information! Skingski (talk) 18:57, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
