Hello Etalk and welcome to Wikipedia!

I wanted to act as your personal welcome committee and relay some tips I received from others along the way.

If you haven't already, please add your name to user directories to let others know a little about yourself. I'd suggest new user log, Department of fun and Wikipedians by birthday as good starting points. Visit our community portal and the village pump for quality gossip.

When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit. If you get a minute, have a look at the FAQ, style manual and policies and guidelines. This might seem trivial, but it might be useful: how to edit a page and our sandbox.

If you need help, post a question at the Help desk or ask me on my my talk page. I realize that this is no baseball or surfing, but try to have fun!

Aloha,

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Daniel Scheinman, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://conferences.oreillynet.com/cs/user/view/e_spkr/3972. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
