I have removed the assertion that Aseev had a plus record against Khalifman. I'm not sure this would be something worth pointing out in the article anyway (Aseev, after all, had plus records against a lot of players), but in any case, I don't think it's true. The games in the Chessbase Mega Database 2004 between the two players are:

By my reckoning, that's a record of +3 =5 -5 for Aseev.

Is this page missing the moves in algebraic notation from the 1989 game against Khalifman? Also, is the link to https://ratings.fide.com/profile/4110544 accurate? It seems to lead to a different person's profile. JayTongue (talk) 22:40, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
