Either a very minor character from an extremely obscure comic, or completely made up...googling for "mr monkey" squid turns up some stuff, but nothing that seems to be relevant. I couldn't even find anything for "squid adventures" comic, the series this character allegedly comes from -- Ferkelparade π 13:13, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete Can't find Orson Bart either. --206.108.58.39 13:32, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep: Since a young age I have always been a fan of the Squid Adventures comic, in which Mr Monkey featured prominently I can't understand why anyone would want this entry deleted. It is culturally significant, especially in that it is a brilliant parody of the postmodernist age. Orson Bart is a recluse who dislikes the use of the internet for promotion, which may perhaps explain its relative online obscurity.
This IP is in Australia, just like the IP of the article creator. Not a single edit except this vote
  • Keep: I can vouch for the postmodernist, cult brilliance of this comic. It relies on 'transcendent banality,' one of Bart's more fruitful concepts. Orson Bart is known for his eccentricity and wouldn't take kindly to being 'googled' I have heard. It's an Australian comic.
this vote is from the article crator, IP in Australia
  • Delete. The article looks made up. --Gene s 13:49, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete nothing turns up when googling for 'orson bart "squid"'. That's not relative online obscurity, that's sheer oblivion, which couldn't happen with a notable comic unless all fans had to sign NDAs before getting to read it. Furthermore, it looks like the last two anonymous votes are by the same person (not that I have any proof for that, just a hunch). It doesn't matter however, only votes by registered users are counted. --fvw* 13:52, 2004 Nov 11 (UTC)

  • Delete: Unverifiable, so it doesn't matter whether it was the best or worst comic ever. It left no trace, and the "article crator" didn't give references. Geogre 01:31, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)
