Merged with MAN B&W Diesel[edit]

This is just to note that former content of the article Burmeister & Wain was merged with that of MAN B&W Diesel by Onceler at the request of Marc Lacoste all on 23 February 2006. Information to that effect, in the form of the original request, present on this page was erased by the latter after the merge was complete. I have put this paragraph in to facilitate any future attempts to trace events. I was also not 100% sure if it was the way to go, noticing that da.wikipedia maintains these as 2 separate articles, but I acceded as it is not irreversible should anyone have second thoughts and it eliminates potential redundancy. -Onceler 17:49, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I banked this page because a discussion for a redirect seems a little too much for me :) The history summaries are enough. I think da.wikipeia keeps two articles because of nationality reasons: Burmeister & Wain was a dansk company, MAN B&W is a german subsidy. --Marc Lacoste 22:32, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

B&W Hallerne[edit]

A distinction should be made between Burmeister & Wain, the company, and B&W Hallerne, the building that used to be the company's shipyard, which will be converted into a music venue for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. A separate article should be created for B&W Hallerne.Xelaxa (talk) 13:07, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Posted a copy of your request to the appropriate area Wikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision/Article requests. WesleyMouse 13:32, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Since B&W Hallerne now exists, I'm removing this article from WP:ESC. The same should likely be done for Event Venues, but as a nonmember I'll leave that up to them to decide. —烏Γ (kaw), 06:50, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
