I remember reading in a book about heraldry a long time ago that the ruling stopped the theatre company using the coat of arms on the company seal yet allowed it to continue to use the coat of arms upon the safety curtain of the theatre until such time as the safety curtain was replaced as a result of normal replacement due to wear.

"About the Court of Chivalry " is broken.

Fixed. Thanks.

Appeal[edit]

To which court would appeals (theoretically) be directed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.2.122.83 (talk) 19:37, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. I have added new text to that effect. Lyndwood (talk) 01:56, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have amended Andrew Gwilliam's new wording to try to reflect the fact that, although appeals lie to the Privy Council since 1832 there haven't actually been any (yet). Lyndwood (talk) 08:00, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
