Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hammering

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hammering was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to redirect the article to hammer.

Neologism; personal essay. Sport, as described, does not exist. This is, unfortunately, one of a series of apparently related articles. Start with the Scott Gall, check the history, and check user contributions for users in the 210.54 range. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 19:13, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • If I had a hammer, I'd -- no. Just delete. Ian Pugh 19:29, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete same nonsense as rugbennis and rugbicket which i lumped into the existing soccer bowling listing above. Wolfman 19:40, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete all of this vanity crap. RickK 22:12, Nov 7, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: I appreciate the fact that Scott has an unusual mind, but the point of being unusual is that you're not generally encyclopedic. This project does fall to the commonplace and widespread. Robert Wilson's operas would benefit, but not the encyclopedia. Geogre 22:35, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Redirect to hammer. I've taken the liberty, as there seems to be little sentiment to "keep". [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 07:07, Nov 8, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Original research. Wish we could have some fun with Scott Gall and a hammer. --Improv 21:02, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
