Request[edit]

This is my first article on Wikipedia so any input is appreciated. As a template I used the Now and Then, Here and There article.

If anyone knows:

1) the dates when the series aired in Japan 2) how to write the title in Japanese 3) any other useful info

fill it in please.

I will put a plot summary and character analysis after I finish the series, which should be in a couple of days. This show is awesome and underrated, unfortunately.

I like your article :). I added a picture (DVD cover) to it and added it to the Magical Girl catagory. GracieLizzie 19:08, 3 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Publisher[edit]

Jubei-chan 2, Siberian Yagyuu is released by Geneon, NOT BANDAI.

The suffix chan[edit]

If the meaning of chan described on this page is the right one, then I guess that would make the Japanese youths extremely large-scale polygamists. INVITE PLEASE! (I dun want any guys - I'm straight kthx.) -DaFreekinWeirdo 13:13, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Manga...[edit]

There is no manga based on Jubei-chan. I have confirmed it by researching ANN (Anime News Network)I am now removing the section.

Merge[edit]

Jubei-chan 2 is a direct sequel with not enough info to justify a separate article. Both series feature the same characters, background and staff, so both articles end up with redundant information.

I propose a merge following the Pretty Cure model, not messy like Space Battleship Yamato, where only new information regarding the sequel is presented. After the merge, I suggest changing the article's name to "Jubei-chan: the Ninja Girl" to cover both series.--Nohansen 14:00, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you.

Jubei-chan 2[edit]

I've removed all references to Ayunosuke's gender from the characters section. (Or at least all I caught...) Even though it's marked a Spoiler, it's never made clear until the last episode, so it seems like it shouldn't be listed in an article that only gives an overview of the story at the start of the series. — Xenoveritas 23:22, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Umm... huh?[edit]

Looking at the cast list over here, I see the name "Yuri Norstein" (aka. Yuriy Norshteyn) as "Utaemon-sama". Now this is... quite strange. I didn't know that Norshteyn spoke Japanese, and he hasn't been in any other acting roles (rather, he's a famous Russian animator... who was in fact in Japan winning awards and things around the time that this series was being made). Can anyone confirm that that information is indeed correct? Who is this "Utaemon-sama" character, anyway? Esn 07:34, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Jubeichan.jpg[edit]

Image:Jubeichan.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
