Name[edit]

Which writing system is right: "El Hadji" or "El-Hadji"? Can anyone knowing the answer correct the article, please? Yves Revi 22:37, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

While I have heard him referred to as a wanker, does that really count as a nickname? According to wikiality, it does! Tell you what, I'm going to remove that, and if anyone thinks I'm wrong, let's see some justification here. Me mi mo 12:37, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I meant a free image already on the wiki or on Commons. See our image policy for more details. — Bility (talk) 17:54, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK Thanks I noticed in it says image policy Adding images

Before you upload an image, make sure that either:

You own the rights to the image (usually meaning that you created the image yourself). You can prove that the copyright holder has licensed the image under an acceptable free license. You can prove that the image is in the public domain. So my picture coming from a newspaper would count as in public domain?--BadSynergy (talk) 22:58, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Someone has changed it to he plays for one of the most reviled clubs in europe with a link to rangers. This page is protected so I couldnt change it back. Looking at page history it was TBall84 who changed it.

Edit request from BadSynergy, 22 March 2011[edit]

{{edit semi-protected}} Please change, El Hadji Ousseynou Diouf (born 15 January 1981 in Dakar, Senegal) is the most reviled footballer in Europe, who currently plays for the most reviled club in Europe on loan from Blackburn Rovers, back to its orginial version. It should read he plays for Rangers not most reviled club in Europe. A quick look at page history shows it was user TBall 84.

Name confusion[edit]

There is an article in progress about a Senegalese-born Quebecois singer, songwriter, and percussionist named El Hadji Fall Diouf (or the frenchified name "Élage Diouf") I think that another disambiguation should be added on this page to reduce confusion.Benson Bulloch (talk) 00:35, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
