Untitled[edit]

On mythology- some accounts have Linus as the son of Kalliope, rather than Terpsichore. Or am I misremembering this? FZ 01:39, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Linus == impolite ??[edit]

This thread could add some details if someone with better knowledge about this word can support this claim. Linus Torvalds posted this email on Linux Kernel mailing list sometimes last week. Was he joking are is he serious?

First or middle name?[edit]

Paul of Tarsus[edit]

While the below entry is interesting, it is incorrect for a disambiguation page. If someone wants to add it to the article on Pope Linus, that would be appropriate. - Corporal Tunnel 00:57, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Linus was a figure mentioned at Paul of Tarsus's Second Epistle to Timothy: 'Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.' (2Tim.4:21, KJV) This may or may not be the same person as Pope Linus.
