I've moved the template to "International cricket in 2005" so that it can include the ICC Intercontinental Cup and ICC Trophy. Hope that's ok. Also, it's missing the past series (eg South Africa v England, South Africa v Zimbabwe - should we add these? jguk 11:14, 21 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

When I started it, I thought classifying them by cricket season would be more reasonable - that way we can justify that there's not really any articles on SA - Eng, SA - Zim and WI - Zim yet. And as cricinfo conveniently does the classifying by season for us, that saves worrying about whether to put a series going from December 2007 to February 2008 (as the Ashes are wont to do when in Australia) in 2007 or 2008. I can see it creates some confusion with the rest of wikipedia policy, though. Sam Vimes 12:53, 21 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

So you mean that next will be International cricket in 2005-6, International cricket in 2006, International cricket in 2006-7, and so on? I hadn't realised that. Seems reasonable to me. Kind regards, jguk 13:08, 21 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, that's what I thought. Especially as the "season" thing had already been established with the English season. Sam Vimes 13:46, 21 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
