town?[edit]

Confusion once again...in Pennsylvania only the terms "city," "borough," and "township" have any specific meaning. To use "town" is misleading - we should say "community" or some such, since some states use the word "town" to have a specific meaning. And, of course, if it is in fact a borough, we should say that, too.john k 20:07, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Actually, Penn Hills is officially a "municipality" just like Monroeville. The page should probably be changed and renamed to reflect this. 71.182.242.215 (talk) 11:46, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
