Untitled[edit]

This shouldn't be in Wikipedia, more like Wikitionary.

  • I'm not sure about that. The first section is a basic definition, which is perhaps better suited to Wiktionary, but the second part is encyclopedic, and the third could become encyclopedic if expanded upon. --HappyDog 02:13, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Drinks?[edit]

What about the "parts" in drinks? Eg: One part Malibu Mango rum, one part Irish Cream, etc. --12.162.215.130 13:06, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New York City Court system[edit]

What about the parts in the NYC court system which have been immortalized in the show Law and Order?

Part (music)[edit]

There should be a separate article called Part (music). This would explain the meaning of "part" as an individual line in a polyphonic piece of music with explanation of terms such as "4-part fugue" and "part-writing", the fact that it can also be called "voice" (as, indeed, it is in many other languages). It can also mention the meaning of the piece of music that an orchestral player puts on his/her music stand containing just the notes for his/her instrument. And finally that "part" can also mean "section" (of a composition). I am planning such an article for Simple English, and would be happy to write one here for English wiki (with big words) when time permits.Hikitsurisan 17:05, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • PS Just found exactly that in German wiki (Stimme (Musik))Hikitsurisan 17:09, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
