Title Sequence

Are you sure? At least when I was watching the show, it was a Prisoner title sequence parody.

which is series 5? and it's The Avengers if you mean John Steed & co.

Series/Dates

According to the BBC Comedy Guide, there were 3 series and two specials, Series 3 was 11 parts and ran 6 Feb-24 Apr 1998.

However LWTs archive refer to the first two specials as "series 1", and they have series 4 down as being 12 parts and running 10 Jan-25th Apr 1999.

As its more likely LWT know what they are talking about I've used their naming system for series and dates for series 4.

• I've also found 13 extra episodes whos production code seems to imply they are from Series 4, but have no broadcast dates so im now wondering if Series 4 had 26 parts also?

• The dates for Wot a Palaver look wrong; it says that it aired in 1996 and later released in 1994. I assume those two years should be the other way round but I don't want to edit it in case the dates are totally wrong...

"Fansite"

The link that was recently added is marked as a "fansite" where actually its a site that seemingly exists mostly to sell episodes of the show, with the bulk of its content copied from Wikipedia. Is this in violation of the rules? Should Wikipedia be promoting people selling episodes of TV shows. --RedboXen 21:37, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Fair point RedboXen. I'll remove this link although I may re-add it sometime in the future depending on how the content of the site progresses (ie if the sales links are withdrawn and the content is developed.)--The globetrotter 21:53, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

YouTube Link

The YouTube link I put up here has had a couple of reverts recently. The reason given for the initial revmoval is understandable- I have not provided evidence of ownership of the copyright of these clips (which I do not have- although I have the support of Bob Mills to host them). Wiki seems clear on this, so could I request that the link isn't added again? If anyone wants to find the clips then YouTube has a search facility which will help internet users to locate them.--The globetrotter 12:16, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Capitalisation

I think I should question the recent capitalisation of 'Medinner' as 'MeDinner'. If you check the credits of all four series, the capitalisation is merely stylised- with all of the letters in capitals, and a difference in height rather than capital/non-capital letters. Obviously the nature of the invented word 'Medinner' is virtually portmanteau, but Bob Mills writes it as 'Medinner' and as he came up with the title, I guess he has the only real perspective on this very minor but annoying issue! In fact, having had this in the back of my mind this afternoon, "In Bed With MeDinner" makes little sense graphically. It's obviously based on "In Bed With Madonna" as suggested by the phrase itself and the typeface/layout/colours, which means that "In Bed With Medinner" offers a more logical and directly comparable shape; as stated before, the stylised capitalisation is differentiated by letter height solely, which wikipedia cannot reproduce in titles and page headers. This postulation is relatively pointless, however, because it does come down to the simple fact that the originator of the programme and the programme scripts and artifacts refer to it as "In Bed With Medinner" and "Medinner". If you've got any perspective on the debate, add your thoughts, otherwise I think i'll revert the changes in a few days. This is kind of like the time that someone insisted there should be an apostrophe to make the film title "Ghostbuster's" as they 'own' the ghost logo. Hmmn...
