Quote: The American pronunciation is "bA-ta" with a long "A" whereas the British pronunciation is "bE-ta" with a long "E"

Question: What's the Greek pronunciation?

The modern Greek pronunciation is (IPA or SAMPA)/vi.ta/,<vee.ta>.

I think including the modern and ancient greek pronunciations could improve this article. – Quoth 14:51, 8 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Primary topic[edit]

Isn't Beta (letter) the primary topic here? Then, per MOS:DAB, the page should begin, "Beta (letter) or β is the second letter of the Greek alphabet. Beta or BETA may also refer to:" etc. Cnilep (talk) 17:21, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
