Referring to motifs[edit]

"The painting was unveiled in 1944 and contains references to many of the album's core themes and song titles" This sounds strange: Like Dali is making references to the album (obviously not so). I can't think of how to fix it at the moment... --Daev 06:18, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gave it a go, hopefully it sounds a bit better. 164.38.118.188 08:58, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

El cielo is listed on Biosphere Reserves in Mexico. Pixeltoo 12:31, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are we sure about this Eternal Sunshine thing? Sounds like someone is making really vague connections between the two, the way a conspiracy theorist conjures up evil plots in their ever-rationalizing head. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.29.72.20 (talkcontribs) 16:19, November 24, 2006

Apparantly they aren't vague, considering how much evidence was on the page in support of the connection. I put the section back, because it's better to have the information on this (clearly stated as such) theory, in case someone wants the information, like I did today. And you ^, remember to sign your posts. Mr. Toad 05:57, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed that section per WP:V and WP:OR -- everything on Wikipedia needs to be cited to a reliable source. Here is the link for the text I removed: if you can find a source to prevent this from being OR, feel free to include it, but as it stands now, it's not valid for inclusion. Band?[edit]

Any reason the album article now directs to the band El Cielo? I'm suspicious of the notability of the band, as they've only released one record and apparently aren't signed to a major record label (or a notable indie label). Also, the article only has one source. The album El Cielo seems to be more notable, so if nothing else, the band El Cielo should be renamed El Cielo (band) and any searches for El Cielo should redirect back to the album, which should have a disambiguation for the band. This is assuming that the band is even notable enough to warrant its own article. :/ 68.221.216.19 (talk) 06:40, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that you're right. May be 'El Cielo' band is popular in Argentina, but this album is notable (it has been rated by many sites and magazines), so I think that 'El Cielo' should redirect to the Album. gilb_4 00:47, 26 August 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gilb 4 (talkcontribs)
