Hi there JW. Flesh out whichever parts you like! I'm guessing that as a neurobiologist you know a lot more than me about Hebbian learning... I'm more bio-inspired than AI, so my neural nets aren't what they should be... Chopchopwhitey 03:33, 13 Mar 2004 (UTC)

AFAIK, the following is wrong, so I removed and replaced it; please correct me if I'm wrong: "Hebb's original principle was essentially that if one neuron is stimulating some other neuron, and at the same time that receiving neuron is also firing, then the strength of the connection between the two neurons will be increased, and vice versa — if one is firing and the other isn't, then the connection strength is decreased."
