I've lived in different areas of the Midlands (and Switzerland too) so I'm trying to add a little more detail to the entries for various Midlands towns.

I also have strong connections to Scotland, where I have family in Fife.
I'm nuts about cars. For the record, I've owned 1 Escort, 1 Citroen BX, 2 Orions, 1 Fiesta, 6 Mondeos, 1 Astra, 1 V70 and 1 Vectra. That's in 9 years! I'm helping (possibly) the Automobiles project as and when I can.
I've been working in IT for a few years, with my computing origins dating back to the time of the ZX80, ZX Spectrum and Commodore Amiga.
