Re copyright[edit]

I am the copyright holder and want to release the text. 196.1.114.14 08:46, 7 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I have sent a confirmation of permission to webmaster [at] unipune [dot] ernet [dot] in to verify this statement. In the meantime, please do not remove the copyvio notice or revert to the allegedly copyvio version. --Diberri | Talk 05:03, Aug 10, 2004 (UTC)
I have received a statement from the webmaster verifying that User:196.1.114.14 is the copyright holder. This text is thus released into the GFDL and is no longer considered a copyvio. I've updated Wikipedia:Copyright problems accordingly. --Diberri | Talk 14:08, Aug 10, 2004 (UTC)

Library link off University's home page[edit]

I just noticed that the link on the University's home page to the library is not working. For me, it yields "test page." I emailed four parties from the "contact us" page, one of which immediately bounced. If you are better able than me to contact someone who can fix this problem, I'd be most appreciative. Kind Regards, Keesiewonder 14:20, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Still no response to my email correspondence to the University. The link to the Library on the University's page remains broken. No response on this talk page. :-( ... Keesiewonder 12:09, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to merge the department into the main university article, as no-one else commented in this discussion - see WP:MERGE "If you propose a merger, and nobody objects within 30 days, then you or any other interested editor may boldly perform the merger at any time.". The department has not been shown to be of sufficient notability to have a separate article in Wikipedia, per WP:UNIGUIDE#Faculties_and_academic_colleges. It has no external sources and relies entirely on the department's website and the personal knowledge of editors. PamD 17:26, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support this merger (proposed by another editor), as there is no indication that the department is notable enough to satisfy WP:UNIGUIDE#Faculties_and_academic_colleges. PamD 08:35, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No indication that the department is sufficiently notable for an article. No independent sources. (Merge was proposed by an earlier editor, who didn't add this template) PamD 17:03, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Source for change of name[edit]

Please will someone provide a reference to support the change of name - the University's website does not show a new name, and no other source has been provided. Thanks. PamD 21:46, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Recent issues section[edit]

The recent issues section though informative hardly fits into what a wikipedia page entry about a university should be. See the article structure of a university page here for what the structure of a university page must be. Given that information, I will remove the recent issues section.
