Israel News vs. Jewish News[edit]

I notice that all the news mentioned in this JewishNews template is Israel related. Surely we can find news articles that are related to happenings in Judaism and a separate IsraelNews template or including 1 or 2 Israel related articles. Jewbacca 21:10, Jul 22, 2004 (UTC)

Well, I was wondering... It seems to be just for userpages, and a rather interesting idea: people can sort use templates to interactively build community cohesion online. Id like to see more of these related to Wikipedia community; newsfeeds about whats going on on meta, quote, source, etc... These might either be a bane or a boon for the goals of the encyclopedia, depending on the people they attract as being interested in encyclopedism or diatribalism. -SV 21:21, 2004 Jul 22 (UTC)
