Untitled[edit]

The word till has existed since Old English, even before the word until. To call till "internet chat" shorthand... truly makes Wikipedia the encyclopedia that slashdot wrote.

Interesting info removed as not disambiguating[edit]

I removed this etymology of the German given name: it doesn't aid disambiguation (and the linked article didn't even mention "Till"). It should probably be moved to Wiktionary:
