Mentor?[edit]

Bill being discussed[edit]

I know it was about something about the draft. It's clear in the speach that he was responding to something Bush or someone else said which denied any possibility of a draft, but as for what was the bill he was against? "Charismatic"[edit]

Infobox photo discussion[edit]

I know that often congressional portraits are the best photos available for these pages, but surely I am not the only one who thinks that using a photo that is 12 years old, showing Ryan at age 36 when he is currently 49 years old is not the best option? Did Tim Ryan ever pass a bar exam?[edit]

I have heard, but I can't find any verifying documenation supporting or refuting that Tim Ryan indeed never passed any bar exam and therefore has never been qualified to practice law anywhere in the country. 72.23.105.58 (talk) 13:55, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

    • The CNN Amer Adi link has "House Democrat has been fighting for Adi to remain in America and it was his efforts that secured consecutive stays of the deportation order. But the Ryan article states "Ryan repeatedly presented a bill to Congress whereby Othman would be granted a more thorough review of his case to stay in the United States" . I couldn't find any presentations of bills.
    • There is lots of back and forth on "a large swath" vs area. It doesn’t look that big, and wiktionary definition of swath has it marked as English - is it used much in the US?
  2. The neutrality of this article is disputed. (October 2022)
    • These are cited, but their contents are no longer mentioned COMPLIANCE CASES MADE PUBLIC Congressman Tim Ryan endorses Clinton
    • Need to make it clear that Jim Traficant was former Democratic Ohio, as not mentioned elsewhere
    • Ryan article states that Amer Adi (Othman disputed a verdict by immigration officials on a matter that affected his legal status. Some of the cited article needs inclusion "In the 1980s, Adi held a green card. But he lost his permanent resident status in the early 1990s, after moving to Brazil for three years with his wife. When he returned, Adi tried to apply for a new card, but was rejected. Immigration officials accused him of having a sham marriage with his American ex-wife.     • Is the the amount of photo and caption changes an issue? Or is that normal in the US?
    • Abortion needs more information, as it is such a big issue on opponent. Suggest this mentions more women enrolling and background, and this This discusses his changed views.

    • Whole article needs refs, especially para starting with from Niles. This looks like a good source.
    • Secondary sources are needed for his government webpage
