Rob Liefeld and friends[edit]

Hi there and welcome! Thanks for your edits to Rob Liefeld, which I'm looking forward to going through. Can you tell me more about this "Commander X" proto-Cable character? I've never heard of him, and I'm curious where you heard about him. -leigh (φθόγγος) 04:33, May 27, 2005 (UTC)

  • I've been away for a bit but had occasion again to read this article, and I'm reminded that I meant to say something to you about this. I certainly don't object to your contributing to the article, but I must express my discomfort with the practice of "revert to facilitate edit." It essentially says, "I reject every one of the changes you've made to the article, so I'll pretend they never happened," which is frankly a bit insulting. I made many changes, and I think they're all more or less defensible; removing them all with no discussion is rather contrary to the wiki spirit. Especially considering that we seem to agree on many points; many of the changes you made had nothing to do with my changes, and i had just defended you to SpaceCaptain on the Talk page! I really don't understand why you couldn't have made your modifications based on the latest incarnation, rather than rewinding to (what I naturally see as) an inferior article and working from there. I support most of the changes you've made since then, and I don't really expect you to do anything about this now (the process has passed me by; I'll add back some of my tweaks soon), I just wanted to give a yelp to let you know my toes had been stepped on. Cheers. -leigh (φθόγγος) 09:17, Jun 24, 2005 (UTC)

why does that anonymous user continue to revert 4 times a day and not get punished?--Timrock 20:49, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have almost all of the awesome comic releases but haven't looked at them in years. any specific questions about issues i could look it up. this is the only website i know that has some info on AWESOME COMICS http://platinumstudios.com/titles/awesome_comics.php

what the heck was the guy blocked for 2 days and that's it? i don't think i can take playing games with this troll anymore.

Yeah I figured as much as well he's about to violate the 3RR again. Also, I figure if I don't do anything he'll eventually get bored because he won't have anything to revert. I know I'm a fan but when it comes to this article I only want the unbiased facts as fact. rumors, controversy, public opinion are part of his career as an artist so they should be included just not to be mistaken as facts.--Timrock 16:43, 13 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There he goes again. I think I'm going to take a break from Wiki for a while.--Timrock 08:26, 14 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This guy hasn't been able to come up with one valid point. Not to mention he edits every one of his sources to match his POV and ignores all statements that contradict him. I just never met someone who was so dense and clueless. He's the type of person I usually avoid at all cost. Anyways, I'm confident that any admin that bothers to read the discussion can see how he's just a troll manipulating facts, without any support.--Timrock 00:36, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There was nothing wrong with those edits. You are nothing but a "Liefeld fan troll"--69.243.46.93 14:43, 24 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, that's funny, now they're calling you a liefeld fan troll. Well, at least that shows their stupidity.--Timrock 12:18, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

POV edits[edit]

Before you start reverting my edits again, please read the discussion page for X-Men... Havok 17:10, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I did. You didn't even recognize the name "Claremont." ROTFLOL. N. Caligon 18:12, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Removed neutrality/accuracy dispute tag. Editor who unilaterally added tag has failed to participate in followup

Actually, I have been reviewing edits and discussions. I have seen no reason for any more intervention, for the most part, as I am not always here. I put in WP:RFC and requested the page to be unprotected and moved, set out a new discussion with some notes for editors. I did not add the tag, and truly fealt that amongst yourselves (after the page unprotection) you would have had a reasonable amount of time to settle disputes and form a repertoire amongst one another, and decide if it was still under dispute. If you still feel that you need some assistance handling vandalism, POV, or unattributed edits, I would be glad to assist, or you can also see WP:RFC for unsettled disputes. I hope that was of some help. <>Who?¿? 29 June 2005 16:43 (UTC)
  • Hmm, confusing, unless you meant "who" as a generic term and not particulary me User:Who. :) . <>Who?¿? 29 June 2005 16:44 (UTC)

but almost all of the editors are trying to reach consensus right now

Thats good to hear, sorry for the mixup, I didnt even think about it until I hit save. <>Who?¿? 29 June 2005 17:29 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for the message explaining why my comment was deleted. Pretty decent of you to go the trouble. Dont think I care enough to reenter it now, but its nice to know there wasnt any intent behind it. Hueysheridan 03:34, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
