One thing comes to mind from personal experience- some Atari 2600 games were unplayable without the manual? And now, many console game manuals (again, can't speak for computer gamers) are hardly touched. You 19:33, May 30, 2005 (UTC)

Samples needed[edit]

I'd like to see this with examples of things. Like say the controller explanation from Halo, the items list from Final Fantasy VII, the installation guide from Duke Nukem 3D, the multiplayer info from Quake III, etc. As long as they're low-res and random, that should still be fair use. Every one of the external links there that I can determine contains blatant copyright violations. DIRECTLY quoted from WP:EL
