Under Gallery, University of Delaware calls it "The Green"[edit]

Under the section that is Gallery for the photo that is used for the University of Delaware, there is a caption that labels the area "The Mall". This is not what this area is called by students now, as it is called "The Green". Brywharris (talk) 04:51, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 15 July 2022[edit]

I would like to change the picture representing the University of Florida. Currently, it is Peabody Hall. I believe the Wikipedia-sourced & approved photo for Norman Hall is more reflective of the apparent theme displayed by other university representations.

University of Maryland, College Park 71.126.140.102 (talk) 18:42, 27 January 2024 (UTC)  Not done for now: Do you want to have University of Maryland, College Park removed from the list? It's not clear what you mean. QuietCicada chirp 18:57, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New Forbes list[edit]

Aristotaled is insisting that this article include the public institutions in a longer list of "new ivies" published by Forbes. First, this is not a listing of "public ivies" - it's actually a list of 10 public institutions and 10 private institutions that the author of the article name "new ivies." So even if this were a stellar source that was being prominently discussed and cited by scholars, experts, and others it would still be off-topic for this article. Second, we have no indication that this list has any credibility or traction.

We are not obligated to write about every list of universities with the word "ivy" in it. We are certainly not obligated to include such information when it's repeatedly added to a Wikipedia article with no discussion although an editor in good standing has challenged the inclusion of the material.
