Hi Wikix,

I had some questions and issues on the way you changed this article.

  • First of all, I noticed you changed the name of the page Yasemin Cegerek to Yasemin Çegerek. When I created the page I doubted on what to choose, Cegerek or Çegerek, seeing her Turkish heritage. However, I found that the subject herself does not use Çegerek, both her PvdA and Twitter page mention Cegerek. So does parlement.com. So I am curious on what information you based this name change.
  • I have some issues with the way you introduced the reference to parlement.com. I specifically used an inline citation so it can be seen what information relies on the reference. The way you formatted the reference lacks this information. Inline citations are always to be preferred, as otherwise you got issues like at this article which you also created:Clemens Cornielje
  • I was also wondering why you changed all the dates in the article from DMY-style, to MDY-style. Since this is a Dutch person the more logical style would be DMY. Manual of Style dictates that the original style should be preserved unless there is a good reason not to.
  • I also saw you added the category People from Enschede. The article provides no information that she was either born in Enschede or lived any substantial amount of time there. Categories should be based on the information in the article. I suggest that this category thus be removed. Same goes for the category People from Turkish descent, if no information is provided in the article. It by the way doesnt come across as very nice to wholeover
  • Please, also try to provide some more information in your edit summaries. I had a look at some other articles to which we both contributed and I had to look up every time what exactly you changed.

1. I changed her name because the Dutch Wikipedia calls her Çegerek. Maybe you're right, because nowhere else she is called Çegerek.

2. In many cases Parlement.com covers the contence of an article about a Dutch politician. Inline citations can be useful in cases of specific information that you cannot find in the general reference.

3. I made this changes because not all the dates in this article were in DMY-style. And many articles about Dutch politicians use MDY-style.

4. She was a municipal councillor in Enschede, so she lived there and was politically active in this city. She has been categorized as from Turkish descent because she is, that's just a fact.
