Untitled[edit]

It's growing late - and finishing this will probably take four more hours. I'll find the time soon. Please don't restore any old parts - it was factually horrible. Lotsofissues 07:15, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)

'...specially..'[edit]

I know it is a word beyond the commonly heard misuse as a shortened 'especally', i.e. '...'specially...', but I don't think it is used correctly in the article: '...Mexico refused to participate with the USA in its military excursion in Europe and granted full-guaranties to the German companies for keeping their operations open, specially in Mexico City...' . Additionally it sounds like it may have been added intentionally as attempted humor, making fun of the way some non-native speakers of English sound. . 70.171.47.39 (talk) 18:00, 30 May 2014 (UTC)BGriffin[reply]

Incorrect category?[edit]

The following category does not appear to be correct, as there were fatalities among both military forces, and thirdly, among civilians in the fighting and occupation of Veracruz: "Category:Battles and conflicts without fatalities" . I deleted it.Parkwells (talk) 01:07, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Over-reliance on newspapers[edit]

Editors' efforts to use Library of Congress resources are admirable, but later academic books or scholarly studies could be added to the use of newspapers of that period, for providing some perspective.Parkwells (talk) 21:22, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

aftermath[edit]

we have two aftermath sections in the article, I don't know enough about the incident to fix it but thought I should point it out TheEditor1974 (talk) 19:48, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
