Notes[edit]

Would Category:Geography belong here instead of directly in Category:Natural sciences?-- Mic 08:21, 11 Jun 2004 (UTC)

It is now placed in Category:Earth sciences. -- Mic 16:10, 11 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Engineering Geology should be a subcategory of Category:geology.

Subfields[edit]

Is there any reason why "Subfields of Geology" needs to be a subcategory? I think it would be more practical to put those subfields directly into the Geology subcategories. That way people could find Geophysics and Paleontology by going to the Geology Category. As it is, there are enough subcategories under Geology that the existence of a Subfields subcategory was difficult to spot. e.g., The first two times I looked at this Category I was confused by the lack of a Geophysics subcategory.Elriana (talk) 05:50, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
