Untitled[edit]

This page was nominated for speedy deletion earlier today. However, it is part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokédex and, as a Pokémon Stub, could be expanded into a full article at any moment.

I have therefore removed the delete tag and replaced it with a cleanup tag. I hope some of the other volunteers from the wikiproject are better at formatting than this. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 21:44, 23 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Of course they are. You can look at any article that is on the List of Pokémon (as long as it is not on the Pokémon Stubs list) for an example. Sample articles I can think of from off the top of my head are the Pidgeyfuck e (mentioned on the WikiProject page itself) and the Pikachu article.

This article contradicts itself...[edit]

"The name Dratini is a combination of dragon, tiny and possibly mini, or teeny, which is an informal alteration of tiny, despite Dratini being born at over 6 feet in length. Even so, Dratini's Japanese name Miniryu contains the word mini meaning small, and ryū, Japanese for dragon. Its English name was originally going to be Dragoon."

A few lines down...

"Dratini are born large, as long as 5'11"; and as they shed their skin, they grow larger.

So? What is to happen? Totema1 20:03, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember well, but I think the Pokedex in 2nd Gen (or 1st Gen - again, I forgot) contradicted itself too in a similar manner. I guess it's a small point to mention. --Koheiman 15:12, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
