His death[edit]

Hi. Great care needs to be taken regarding claims of when exactly he died and what the cause was. The German prime source used (Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger) clearly states in translation that "date and cause of death is currently under investigation by Kripol" (the police criminal investigation bureau) due to the circumstances of his body being found and the possible nature of his death. Only when the actual date and cause are firmly sourced after the investigation and possible post mortem should further claims be introduced into this article. Thanks. Folks. At this present time (see my date stamp on the end), there's no way anyone should be introducing any claims as to the exact date of his death into the article. It's not going to be a quick resolution by the police/coroner, I don't think, so I hope we can all show a little patience and restraint before feeling the need to "tidy up" the issue. I'm currently pushing 3RR where his alleged and assumed date of death insertions are concerned, so other editors will now need to keep the article real and true by correcting the misinformed who tinker with that part before the coroner/police have their final say on his demise date. The New York Times article does not say anywhere that the death is under police investigation, nor does it say that the body was found the same day as Czukay died. The attribution in the Wiki is incorrect.Pjdjr (talk) 04:00, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
