Psychologically, "Absorption" seems to be not totally the same as "flow"[edit]

"Absorption" can also mean losing one's contact with reality and surrounding in a negative, potentially harmful way. For example, when one is driving, he/she has to focus on the environment instead of getting lost in thoughts.
