"Malinconia D'amore"?

I am trying to aquire a sheet music copy of a Franz Danzi vocal peice (Song). I have tried many sources including the U.S. Library of Congress. The Library of Congress probably has the music but it is not listed by "Malinconia". They suggest it must be part of a larger work. If I can find opus numbers or the name of a larger work containing it, they may be able to find it that way. The name of the song that I know is "Malinconia D'amore". Based on my research so far, it seems it must be part of a Danzi opera or operetta in Italian. This song is sung by Luciano Pavarotti on his "Pavarotti Songbook" recording. I found a collection published by Di-Arezzo in Europe. This collection is called only "Luciano Pavarotti". Unfortunately, this collection is not available in the U.S. and my attempts to contact the publisher have not been successfull. flute concertos

Going by Worldcat which is never the best way to go, so this requires further research and is preliminary only - It seems this flute concertos are - no. 1 op. 30 in G, no. 2 op. 31 in D minor, no. 3 op. 42 in D minor (sometimes referred to confusingly as op. 41, as recently on Swiss Radio), no. 4 op. 43 in D minor, possibly others.

(Also, I believe op. 15 for two horns and strings, either a sextet or a septet (Radio Swiss Classic says a septet and gives E major, but a listing at Worldcat gives only a string quartet as accompaniment; maybe there's a double bass part in one score? assuming they're the same work) , can be added to the list of selected works (if one chooses, etc.) Schissel | Sound the Note! 09:52, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

The overall tone of the article is surprisingly dismissive

I cannot agree with how Danzi's music is described in the article. The way the whole text is phrased suggests Danzi's compositions have little to offer and are not original what is absolutely not true; in fact, it's the opposite: Danzi's Piano Concerto is one of the very few which stands comparison to Mozart's late concerti, mostly thanks to absolutely exquisite woodwind writing, and describing Danzi's music as 'charming' shows the author is not familiar with it at all as very many of the works are in dark and broody minor key settings. The author either is completely unfamiliar with Danzi's works, in particular with the woodwind concerti (with Bassoon Concerto in G minor being a great counter-example of the qualities listed in the article) or tries to manipulate the readers.
